The Bloody Water of Drop Shipping and Flipping: a new due look at the digital business world
This video serves as an introduction to
a developing video series. The only premise is that I speak
truthfully and honestly at the moment in which I film the video. This
is being done in one take to capture certain artistic moments, none
of which could be experienced when edited.
This video will
address my personal experience, skills, and the history of the
website. We discuss online business ideas that are gaining
popularity on media platforms, particularly drop shipping with
Alibaba Express.
We also look at the flipping phenomenon
(reselling) popularized by Gary Vaynerchuk. There is much more to
these business models than what is discussed through the
media.
There is an investigation into the concept of bloody
water with flipping and drop shipping. Isn’t it funny that these
slang names both have a connotation towards water?
Bloody water helps develops an argument
of technology arbitrage that we seem to be in. Everyone is doing the
same thing expecting to get rich. History repeats. The first world
war, the Great War, showed us that outdated military technology
creates a stalemate in battle. Both sides are unable to gain ground
and won’t until technology improves on one side or the other.
Why
not continue with the theme of war. Rising Sun by Michael Crichton
reveals the premise that business is war. Are we at war with each
other through business? Capitalism is a zero-sum game. If you get
some, I won’t.
Business owners are reluctant to share their
secrets with the world through their content. Instead, we now have
edutainment. This type of content fools the consumer into thinking
they are being given a knowledgeable edge. In truth, they are being
prospected for specific products in a intellectual way. Clever
marketing isn’t it?
We discuses affiliate marketing through
blogging and content creation. This may be the future of online
business, affiliate marketing. There is little to no setup cost other
than acquiring a unique domain and setting up your social profiles.
Then you make content to drive traffic. This is much harder than what
it seems like, but this is the best chance you have if you are
starting in 2020. Don’t kid yourself, this is still hard work. I am
myself behind the 8-ball when it comes to content marketing. Despite
any disadvantage, this is a worthwhile profession to peruse for the
freedom it can allow.
Authenticity on the web is a big
challenge. Are people actually who they seem? Because of this we now
have to wrestle with the phenomenon of buying and selling social
profiles. You can buy an Instagram profile and prospect other
Instagram profiles for paid shout outs. What happens when too many
people do this? We end up with a polluted network of fake profiles
trying to game each other out of money.
Rarely do we see top
influences being honest. After all, they have their agendas to
peruse, and products to sell. In the end we have to face the fact we
are all salespeople and artists on the net.
Is this the decade
where Facebook falls from grace? What happens when the dominant
advertising networks fail? What happens if laws change the way
advertising is done online? We are in uncertain times when it comes
to the internet.
People will always be susceptible to psychological advertising. However, it seems like the people of my generation are less prone to advertising. After all, we grew up with it. Born into a world of commercials and products tailor-made for us. Now all grown up, we have the power to make drastic change.
Despite all this uncertainty it is still worth it to be able to connect with a handful of genuine people. If you can help only a small amount of people do well, it will all be worth it.
The only advice I can give is to peruse your passion through the digital world, after all, it is the future. Be genuine, and have honesty on your side, this will be your only saving grace in hard times.
The technology-savvy generation will carry a high standard of digital authenticity into the future. Can you live and prosper by those standards?
